Death Penalty Reform Act of 2006

This document is the official record of the hearingon the Death Penalty Reform Act of 2006 before the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.  The Death Penalty Reform Act of 2006 provided for additional notice and preparation time, as well as improving jury selection and retention procedures in death penalty cases.  Unfortunately the bill was never signed into la, however, continued talk of introducing a similar measure makes this a valuable source.
